Millenium Garden

The land this is built on was left empty due to underground services when Diggory’s Field was built. The Parish Council was able to acquire the land and as part of the Millennium Celebrations a garden was laid out with Green Places funding.

It was to be a quiet place for residents of the parish to sit and enjoy and meet others.

Sadly, the garden had not been loved as well as it might. It was on the list for refurbishment and one of the positives of the Covid 19 pandemic meant that it was updated earlier than we expected. It remains a work in progress with tree, shrub and wild flower planting planned which will take time.

Some pictures of what has been achieved are detailed below and this will be updated as Parish Progresses. St Cleer’s Environmental Group are working with Parish on this project and can be contacted by email at: stcleerenviromentalgroup@gmail.com
