The Parish Council is seeking to appoint a highly organised, self-motivated and committed applicant to undertake this key role with responsibility for all day-to-day organisation and management of the Council’s services, allotments, facilities and finances.
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and community-focused with excellent leadership, administrative, inter-personal, accounting and IT skills, in order to work successfully with Councillors, external organisations and the community.Ideally the candidate will already possess the CiLCA qualification and have a sound understanding of local authority organisation and management. Essential training will be arranged as required.
Whilst the successful candidate will be home based and work part-time for 20 hours per week, the hours include attending an evening Parish Council meeting on the forth Wednesday of each month (except August), Bi Monthly Committee meeting and extraordinary meetings by arrangement.

Based on the edge of Bodmin Moor, St Cleer Parish consists of a number of Villages and Hamlets, (St Cleer, Darite, Tremar, Tremar Combe, Crowsnest and Commonmoor)
With a population of approx 3500 people and a precept of between £35,000 and £70,000 and 13 councillors
The council operates a small sports pavilion with associated sports facilities (football pitches, out gym, multi use games area.
A medium sized play park, and one small public convenience.
An allotment site of approx 50 plots of different site.
